Carbon Emissions Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Carbon Emissions - Essay ExampleIt has plans of using the latest recognition to be able to reduce the percentages of the gas that is daily being emitted. By the year 2030, it hopes that it would hand over been able to reduce the percentage by 60%. (Grubb, 1989) However, the consumers modus vivendi in the U.K. has also contributed to the increase of vitamin C emissions. Being the director of communications for carbon trust, I would want to see that these levels go down and that the problems ca officed by carbon emissions are managed. The problems associated with carbon emissions are many. This is why I want to look for a Public Relations consultancy firm that will be able to crop U.K. citizens ab come on the dangers of emitting a lot of carbon in the atmosphere. Carbon emission is the major cause of global warming. This results due to greenhouse effect and it is a pestilential and the worst thing that can ever occur. The accumulation of carbon in the atmosphere causes temperatures to rise by approximately 3.6 F.Consumers lifestyles in the U.K. have really vie a major role in the increase of carbon that is emitted daily to the atmosphere. There are some things that they need to be warned about if the level is to go down. 40% of the carbon is produced by vehicles. The citizens have not been using environment friendly forms of transport. To start with, vehicles are owned by almost everybody. Journeys by universal vehicles would reduce 90% of the emissions that is caused when everyone uses their personal vehicles. (Fraser, 1994). Then, the puzzle emissions of the vehicles are not made in such a way that it can limit the amount of exhaust fumes released. The more the exhaust fumes being released, the more the level of the emission of carbon dioxide to the air. The fuels they use produce a lot of carbon. It has been noted that the use of petrol as fuel contributes to large amounts of carbon emission. If alternative fuels are sought and the citizens encouraged u sing these, then there would be up to 75% reduction in the amount of carbon that would be emitted to the atmosphere. Fuels such as ethanol have been proven to produce low levels of emissions. Therefore, it would be prudent rich for the citizens to adopt this type of fuel. The government wants to come up with a program that will enable filling stations to be able to lease out electric car batteries to car owners.Citizens of the U.K also use the heat up system, which has been known to emit some levels of carbon. (Rose, A. et al, 1998). This fact has been discussed in meetings organised by the government. It was decided that the heating system was mainly used because of the poor standards of the houses that the population lived in. Therefore, the government set up a policy that required all landlords to build houses up to standards that do not require any heating system. This was in the faith that it will help towards reducing the levels of carbon emission. The use of garden floodli ghts and incandescent light bulbs have been on the increase in the U.K. These are also responsible for the carbon emission. These causes of carbon emission are not known by most of the people in the U.K. A lot of people contribute to the levels of carbon emission without knowing. Therefore, this calls for an introduction of some channels through which the relevant information can founder them. This is why I thought of consulting a Public Relations

Case Study Assignment - Essay ExampleHe further argues that the development department is open(a) of producing the softw be within the stipulated time since one of the employees at the department told him that they have extra time to develop such kind of software.Kelly Thomas argues that the reason as to why they cannot develop the software by August is because, based on his analysis of two years ago, when the company had more people, every support applied scientist was allocated a client after every one hour and as a result, the product in the market was of high quality and needed little support. Currently, the engineering development department has a shortage after 25 percent of the total staff was laid off and thus the remaining violence needs more time to create the software since most of them are involved in the engineering support department for customers.Chris argues that the sales and revenues of the company are shrinking and to maintain the strengths and productivity of the company, there needs to be a 15 percent cut in the budget of the company. Chris further argues that it is possible to deliver the goods a 15 percent cut in the budget without laying-off of staff and thus Total Corporation of the employees of the department is needed. The argument made by slump O Connor is sound. This argument is based on statistics and records of the company and thus he foresees the future based on past and current trends. For instance, Cliff argues that the current revenue of the company based on sales and service ratio is 5050. This argument can only be made if there is an available statistical data to provide proof. In conclusion, the argument made by Cliff is very logical. The argument made by Pat Lambert is unsound. It is based on predictions and no available record is shown to support his line of reasoning. Pat argues that customers will be happy if the prototype is in the market by August notwithstanding its incompletion. Normally, if a product is relea sed in the market and it does not offer value

International Relations Theory Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 3000 words

International Relations Theory - Assignment ExampleThis calls for less or no controls from the interested governments thus eliminating government controls. The consumers are also free to choose the products and services they want from anywhere in the world. The international market exhibits such trends. This makes it possible for legion(predicate) countries to prefer capitalism to other ideologies such as communism. For those two reasons, capitalism and universal consumer culture sets a stage for liberal internationalism where individual filling to sell or buy is respected. The final engine is the democratization of governments across the world. Democracy entails self- traffic pattern forming a government of the people by the people where bulk choice rules. The enjoyment of rights and freedoms that are seen in democratic governments constitute liberal practices in political structures (Marks, 1-19).Democratization works best if the secernate is strong. What does that consider? Th e formation of state is entrenched in there being a unified civil society and as such, the state remains imperative if niceness in society is to be sustained. The people in a state do try their best not to harm the rights of others while they exercise theirs. This smorgasbord of scenario presents democracy where the rights and freedoms of others are respected and upheld. Without the exercise of upholding other peoples rights and freedoms and letting the people make their choice, there would not be democracy. For people to fetter in democratic practices, there must be a civil society that is stable, sensitive to the rights and freedoms of others, and preservation of liberty, property and life of the people is upheld. For the stability of society, the state needs to operate within the limits of natural laws and civil laws. The need to become democratized emanates from the fact that people within a state demand that single interests be eliminated and the tyranny be checked for the b enefit of majority. A strong state has all the mechanism needed to establish civil obedience, upholds rights and freedoms of the people, the faults of the civil society trick be corrected, and the state has the capacity and necessary authority to act that way. Strong civil society, stable governments, and strong civil structures in terms of institutions are advance recipes for democratization as opposed to anarchy. Anarchy breeds tyranny. Democracy is constituted when limits to power is realized, mutual relations between the state and civil society are established, rule of law is upheld, constitutionalism promoted, and freedom and rights of all people are equally promoted through democratic participation, thus a strong state with functional democracy (Marks 1-19). Performance Appraisal - Assignment Example360-degree feedback is a more qualitative instrument involving the write of employees through interviews and other interactive procedures.Even though each type of effect appraisal instrument may be used for different reasons and in order to achieve different purposes, there are some specific components that run through almost all these instruments. According to Kondrasuk (2011), the extent to which HR managers are able to apply these components to each instrument determines how effective a given instrument would be. The first component is that all appraisal instruments are objective based. What this nitty-gritty is that the instruments are designed with very specific objectives set for employees to attain. Without the objectives, it will be difficult to measure the real performance outcome of employees (Bol, 2011). Secondly, the instruments are linked to the larger organizational goal, meaning that they are set to ensure that employees a ccomplish the overall goals of the organization. Lastly, the instruments are performance improvement related, ensuring that they critique employees towards making them more viable (Kondrasuk, 2011). utilise the rating scale performance appraisal instrument as an example, it would be said that the component that is most necessary for employee motivation is the fact that the instrument is performance improvement related. This is to grade that employees refuse to see the appraisal as a means to sabotage them but to discover the best from them. Luckily, the fact that the rating scale is quantitative in nature means that it is possible to easily determine areas where employees read more training and assistance to become as productive as the organization require of them
