English has never been my favorite subject. I have always been great at writing, but reading was very difficult for me all throughout grade school. I could read just fine, but when it came to reading comprehension problems I would completely blank out. I never really understood how to comprehend stories or articles until this class. When I first saw the syllabus, I was afraid because this whole class was to mainly read some sort of literature, understand the story fully, then write about it in depth.
