People Have On Kids Using Electronics - 1558 Words

There are many different thoughts that people have on kids using electronics. People either don’t mind their kids using things like phones or tablets, but there is also a very large amount of people that disagree and limit the use of electronics for their kids. There are many different reasons why people feel the way they do. Both sides make very valid points to support their side, but I see nothing wrong with kids using electronics in their lives. There are going to be many different times when kids are going to need to use electronic devises in their life, so they should learn the different skills while they are young. There are many different views on this topic and one of the biggest reasons why parents don’t want their kids using electronics is because they want their kids to be playing and be active. Whether kids are playing inside building forts or outside playing hide and go seek, parents want to see their kids running around and having fun. They want to see their kids be creative and come up with different things they can do to keep themselves occupied just like they did when they were kids! Children six to eleven years old obesity rates in 1980 were seven percent and have risen to eighteen percent in 2012 (cdc.gov). That is a huge increase in obesity and the numbers are only getting bigger and bigger every year. One way to help lower the obesity rate would be by making sure kids are doing activities that involve physical activity.
